Seamless EU Customs Declarations

To ensure full compliance with EU customs requirements, a complete Entry Summary Declaration (ENS) in the ICS2 system before goods arrive in or transit through the EU. ICS2 regulations apply to all goods transported via sea, inland waterways, road, and rail—including postal and express shipments—to or through the 27 EU countries, Northern Ireland, Norway, and Switzerland. 


Simplify your EU import and transit processes with our EU Customs module and declare goods in compliance with ICS2 regulations directly through myMSC.

New Declaration 
Simply enter a Bill of Lading number and all the necessary information to create a declaration. This will generate an Entry Summary Declaration (ENS) and submit it to EU authorities through their Import Control System (ICS2).

How secure is the myMSC portal?

Keeping your data secure is very important to us at MSC. That’s why we are introducing Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) for your myMSC portal.

Also known as two-factor authentication, this extra security verification means that only authorised users can log into myMSC.

It relies on a combination of your username, password, and a code received via your mobile device or phone in order to ensure that only you are able to login to your portal.

Are templates available on the myMSC portal?

An eBooking or shipping instruction (eSI) can be created and submitted instantly on myMSC using templates. This helps you to avoid entering repetitive details and reduces time.

What documents can I view and download?

You can ‘view’ and ‘download’ the following documents directly to your desktop via the myMSC portal.


Arrival notice
An arrival notice can be viewed and downloaded using this screen. Enter the ‘Bill of Lading No.’ in the relevant field and click on ‘Retrieve’


Non-negotiable Bill of Lading
A copy of Non-Negotiable Bill of Lading for your export shipments can be viewed by specifying either the Bill of Lading Number or the Booking Number in the relevant fields and clicking on the ‘Retrieve’ button.


Booking confirmation
A ‘Booking Confirmation’ report can be viewed by specifying the ‘Booking Number’ in the relevant field and clicking on the ‘Retrieve’ button


NVOCC AMS declaration status
The AMS Declaration can be viewed by providing the Bill of Lading Number or the Container Number. This document can only be accessed by the ‘USA’ Customers on approval from the agency.
